The Kawartha Real Estate Association reported the following for March 2022. See the report below...

 

The MLS System of the Kawartha Lakes Real Estate Association Inc. reported:

 

Home sales remained above average despite lack of inventory and supply.

 

The Kawartha Lakes Real Estate Association reported 120 homes sold in March 2022 which was a decline of 33.3% from March 2021.

 

Despite the decrease, home sales in March were still 9.6% above the 10-year average.

 

There were 89 active residential listings, marking a 28.2% reduction from March 2021. This makes it the lowest in the month of March in more than three decades!

 

This was a result of new listings declining 31.5% from March 2021 for new residential listings. 

 

Single Detached Homes - The median sale price posted a large increase of 35.8% on a year-over-year basis to reach $850,000 in the first quarter of 2022. This was a new record for the median sale price.
